This event is part of the annual Addison Oktoberfest celebration and is a family-friendly event perfect for both runners and walkers.  Participants can choose from a 1-mile Fun Run or a 5K course through the town of Addison that is chronotrack certified.There are cash prizes to the top 3 overall winners and the top winner in the Masters division (40+).

The first 500 children (age 10 and under) to cross the 1 Mile Fun Run finish line receive a goody bag that includes free entry on all Talley Carnival rides until 5:00 pm on race day. At the Post-Race party, participants get a free breakfast, German beer (over 21 years only), a concert by kids’ favorite Eddie Coker, and free admission to Addison Oktoberfest with Race Bibs on Saturday.
