Award Winner, 2005 A.L. Batting Champion, 2008 Marvin Miller Man of the Year
WHAT: The Michael Young Family Foundation will be hosting its inaugural event, the Michael Young
Celebrity BaseBOWL Tournament, benefiting Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer. The event will consist of two
games, featuring athletes, sports personalities and entertainers, teamed with lane sponsors made
up of executives from local corporations. A silent auction will take place throughout the event and
close prior to the end of the second game. An awards ceremony will be held recognizing the top
three aggregate scores.
WHEN: September 11, 2011, between 6:30pm-9:30pm
